An Ideal Christmas Gift

I did this for you...

At Grapevine conference a lady asked for visions she had seen of the Cross to be sketched. Visions can be quite

complicated to understand and not easy to explain.... there can be a process of drawing different

pictures before we can capture what a vision looks like.

The picture above is the first sketch of a vision the lady saw...of the pain that Jesus felt as the nails were hammered.

and the Lord Jesus was saying "I did this for you"

Father forgive them...

This is the second picture of a similar vision the lady had - I sketched it from this angle trying to

convey what was explained.

When she returned to see the picture, she liked it but it wasn't exactly how she saw the vision.

Never mind...it made me look at the Cross

in new ways. In the picture there is an angry crowd which the blood

of Jesus is falling on. It reminded me of the words that Jesus

spoke from the Cross - Father forgive them, for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34

 

I did this for you because I love you.

The final sketch - this is the way the lady saw the vision.

Part of the Cross coming out of heaven with the hand of Jesus nailed, and his blood falling to the earth.

She heard the Lord say "I did this for you because I love you"
